Cancellation Policy

1. General Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing to YatraBay. Cancellation charges vary depending on the type of service, time of cancellation, and policies of third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, etc.).

2. Flight Cancellations

  • Cancellation charges are as per airline policies, which vary by fare type and route
  • Refundable tickets: Cancellation charges apply as per airline terms
  • Non-refundable tickets: No refunds, but taxes may be refundable
  • Processing fees may apply for cancellation requests
  • Refunds, if applicable, may take 4-8 weeks to process

3. Hotel Cancellations

  • Free cancellation: No charges if cancelled within the specified time period
  • Non-refundable bookings: Full amount is forfeited
  • Partial refund: Some hotels offer partial refunds based on cancellation timing
  • Cancellation charges increase as the check-in date approaches

4. Package Tour Cancellations

Cancellation Timeline:

  • 30+ days before departure: 25% of package cost
  • 15-29 days before departure: 50% of package cost
  • 7-14 days before departure: 75% of package cost
  • Less than 7 days: 100% (No refund)

Note: These charges are in addition to any cancellation fees imposed by airlines, hotels, or other service providers.

5. Visa Service Cancellations

  • Visa processing fees are non-refundable once the application is submitted
  • Service charges may be refundable if cancellation is made before submission
  • Government fees are non-refundable as per embassy/consulate policies

6. No-Show Policy

In case of no-show (failure to appear for travel without prior cancellation), no refunds will be provided. All amounts paid will be forfeited.

7. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 7-14 business days after approval
  • Bank processing time may vary (additional 3-5 business days)
  • Refund amount will be after deducting applicable cancellation charges

8. Force Majeure

In case of cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.), refunds will be subject to the policies of service providers. We will assist in processing claims but cannot guarantee full refunds.

9. Modification of Bookings

Changes to bookings may be permitted subject to availability and payment of modification fees. Modification charges vary by service type and provider policies.
